Evil and its Demise

Right after the horror of what happened on 9/11, the American people became more empathetic toward others and unified---calling out to God to help us (even the politicians), helping each other, and patriotic --- often proudly waving the U.S. flag. That was the good thing that came out of that terrible day in our history. People caring for others again, but it didn't last long.

We became more divisive and cold-hearted toward others than ever before...and it wasn't just us. All over the world people started showing less love and caring for others, and replaced it with intensifying hated and disdain.

Sure there is still goodness in the world, but there is a thick, dark cloud that hangs over our planet, enveloping many with a spiritual awakening of importance of self and hardened hearts toward others--- an unleashed sense of evilness that has captured the hearts of many.

I believe 9/11 was a turning point for all humanity. Instead of America and the rest of the world getting better, our nations started sinking into a dark, terrifying pit that we can't come out of. There is no turning back the clock ---we will continue to get worse. The Holy Bible foretold times like this.

We are living in the End Times where:
 * people choose to be more concerned about themselves than for others
* where all kinds of vile sex and perverted lifestyles rule the airwaves and our societies
*where things that used to be called good is called evil now---and vice versa
* where sparing the rod (spanking is considered child abuse and illegal in many places) and spoiling the child is a commonality, thus leading to much more horrendous acts committed by youth
*where children and teens, more than ever before, defiantly confront their parents showing no respect and spitefully disobeying them
*where more marriages are failing and  families torn apart for various reasons
*where many families are no longer tightnit  in love ---becoming cold-hearted and estranged from each other--- including grown children and their parents
*where living together is the norm for many instead of forming a bond in Holy matrimony
*where materialism has replaced God and become their idols, and how even many Christians put games, social media and other things first before spending time reading God's Word and having devotional time with Him --- I admit I am guilty of this
*where many mock God and His Word more than ever before ---and many scriptures are construed as hate speech

There is much more for which we are all guilty of. We humans are flawed---born into a flesh that is sinful in nature. We have all fallen from God's grace, and no matter how much good we do in this life we will all come up short on being accepted into God's eternal kingdom.

Well, since nobody is good enough for God is that it? Are we all doomed? No! There is more for you to know.

Cheer up people! There is great news! Your sins don't have to count against you. God has made it possible for us to eternally live with Him by sending God the Son, Jesus, to bear our sins by dying on the cross. All you have to do is ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, confess your sins,  ask forgiveness, and turn away from your sins. You have to really mean all this. God can't be mocked, for He knows our hearts.

Yes, there has always been evil in this world. The devil, Satan, is prince of this world, therefore darkening the heart's of mankind. It was prophesied in the Word, that in the end times evil would run rampant--- increasing in intensity. This is being fulfilled now.

This world is in a cesspool of filth and it will never get better---no matter who are leaders are. Man can not fix man's problems. But Jesus can!

Take heart people! Your Redeemer lives! Oh hallelujah! Glory to God! There is a King coming! Jesus is coming back as King of kings and Lord of lords and will put all sinful people to shame!

On that day He will stand upon the Mount of Olives and rule all the nations of the earth.

Everyone, willing or not, will bow at His feet and confess with their mouths that He is Lord! Finally, all evil will pass away and be no more! What a Day that will be! I am yearning for that Day!

Think about it! No more:

*sickness and death
*cruelty, neglect and abuse of humans and animals
*no more sadness, no more tears
*no more sinful flesh for all those saved by the blood of the Lamb

This is not the end of the story...it goes on for all eternity!

Maranatha! Lord Jesus!
