GOP Leaders Fight to Stop Trump http://www.baltimoresun.com I was for Ben Carson until it was apparent he wasn't getting anywhere. He was the most gentlemanly, loved most of his views, and I thought he would make a great president.  While contemplating on a Cruz vote, my interest in Trump, (despite his brash treatment of people) increased...especially after Cruz's treatment of Carson. I consider Trump the lessor evil of the others. After listening to Cruz and Rubio, I just don't trust them, and if Clinton or Sanders becomes president, this country is done.  What the Republican Establishment is doing is downright dirty to its party members. They are saying they don't care who we want. If the establishment goes through with appointing who they want, it will be over for the Republican party. Trump may very well switch to an Independent ticket--- and I wouldn't blame him.  As much as I think Trump would be the better man in the Oval office, I just feel deep dow

Right after the horror of what happened on 9/11, the American people became more empathetic toward others and unified---calling out to God to help us (even the politicians), helping each other, and patriotic --- often proudly waving the U.S. flag. That was the good thing that came out of that terrible day in our history. People caring for others again, but it didn't last long. We became more divisive and cold-hearted toward others than ever before...and it wasn't just us. All over the world people started showing less love and caring for others, and replaced it with intensifying hated and disdain.  Sure there is still goodness in the world, but there is a thick, dark cloud that hangs over our planet, enveloping many with a spiritual awakening of importance of self and hardened hearts toward others--- an unleashed sense of evilness that has captured the hearts of many.   I believe 9/11 was a turning point for all humanity.
