Tribute To Jesus the Christ on this Happy Resurection Day!

 RISE AGAIN by Dallas Holm
Oh how I have always loved this wonderful song. I cry every time I sing and/or hear it. I am so in love with my Jesus. For people that don't know Him, they don't understand how someone can really love someone they have never seen. When you truly know and love Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside you and you know, that you know, that you KNOW Jesus is REAL. He's God in the flesh and you can feel his love for you. It is the most beautiful high ever...a natural high. A taste of eternity. If you don't know Him, I beseech you to seek Him and go to Him.

Lyrics to song:
Go ahead, drive the nails in My hands
Laugh at me where you stand
Go ahead, and say it isn't Me
The day will come when you will see

'Cause I'll rise again
Ain't no power on earth can tie me down!
Yes, I'll rise again
Death can't keep Me in the ground

Go ahead, mock My name
My love for you is still the same
Go ahead, and bury Me
But very soon, I will be free!

'Cause I'll rise again
Ain't no power on earth can tie me down!
Yes, I'll rise again
Death can't keep Me in the ground

Go ahead and say I'm dead and gone
But you will see that you were wrong
Go ahead, try to hide the Son
But all will see that I'm the One!

'Cause I'll come again!
Ain't no power on earth can keep Me back!
Yes, I'll come again
Come to take My people back

HE'S ALIVE by Don Francisco

Here is another old song I boo hoo cry singing and/or listening to it. He's alive and my sins are forgiven---past, present and future Praise God!
Lyrics to song:
The gates and doors were barred
All the windows fastened down
I spent the night in sleeplessness
And rose at every sound

Half in hopeless sorrow
And half in fear the day
Would find the soldiers breakin' through
To drag us all away

And just before the sunrise
Heard something at the wall
The gate began to rattle
And a voice began to call

Hurried to the window
Looked down into the street
Expecting swords and torches
And the sound of soldier's feet

There was no one there but Mary
So I went down to let her in
John stood there beside me
As she told us where she'd been

She said they've moved Him in the night
And none of us knows where
The stones been rolled away
And now His body isn't there

We both ran toward the garden
Then John ran on ahead
We found the stone and the empty tomb
Just the way that Mary said

But the winding sheet they wrapped Him in
Was just an empty shell
And how or where they'd taken Him
Was more than I could tell

Well, something strange had happened there
Just what I did not know
John believed a miracle
But I just turned to go

Circumstance and speculation
Couldn't lift me very high
'Cause I'd seen them crucify Him
Then I saw Him die

Back inside the house again
The guilt and anguish came
Everything I'd promised Him
Just added to my shame

When at last it came to choices
I denied I knew His name
Even if He was alive
It wouldn't be the same

Suddenly the air was filled
With strange and sweet perfume
Light that came from everywhere
Drove shadows from the room

Jesus stood before me
With His arms held open wide
And I fell down on my knees
And just clung to Him and cried

He raised me to my feet
And as I looked into His eyes
Love was shining out from Him
Like sunlight from the skies

Guilt in my confusion
Disappeared in sweet release
And every fear I'd ever had
Just melted into peace

He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide

He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide

He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide
He's alive, He's alive, He's alive

Here is another beautiful song. HE'S ALIVE AND LIVING IN ME by Cindy Cruse Ratcliff

 Lyrics to song:
He arose over death and the grave
Triumphant and mighty to save
He's alive, my King forever to reign

I was free when the stone rolled away
I'm living and breathing today
'Cause He bore my sin and conquered my shame

He lives! He is risen!
He stands with all power in His hands
Jesus! He's alive and He's living in me
He lives! He is risen!
He reigns and His kingdom never ends
Jesus! He's alive and He's living in me

He alone, the Savior of man
Transforming and cleansing our sin
He's alive, my King forever to reign

He's alive
Death couldn't hold Him down
The grave couldn't keep Him in the ground
He's alive

He's alive and He's living in me
He's Jesus
He's alive and He's living,
Alive and He's living in me

A very pretty and moving song by Sandi Patty called WAS IT A MORNING LIKE THIS?

Lyrics to song:
Was it a morning like this
When the Son still hid from Jerusalem?
And Mary rose from her bed,
To tend to the Lord she thought was dead?

Was it a morning like this,
When Mary walked down from Jerusalem?
And two Angels stood at the tomb,
Bearers of news she would hear soon?

Did the grass sing?
Did the earth rejoice to feel You again?

Over and over like a trumpet underground
Did the earth seem to pound, "He is risen!"
Over and over in a never-ending round
"He is risen! Hallelujah, hallelujah!"

Was it a morning like this,
When Peter and John ran from Jerusalem?
And as they raced towards the tomb,
Beneath their feet was there a tune?

Did the grass sing?
Did the earth rejoice to feel You again?

Over and over like a trumpet underground
Did the earth seem to pound, "He is risen!"
Over and over in a never-ending round
"He is risen! Hallelujah, hallelujah!"

Over and over like a trumpet underground
Did the earth seem to pound, "He is risen!"
Over and over in a never-ending round
"He is risen! Hallelujah, hallelujah!"

Was it a morning like this,
When my Lord looked out on Jerusalem?

He is risen!
Hallelujah, hallelujah
(Hallelujah)
Hallelujah!
(Hallelujah, hallelujah)

Always loved this song, Watch The Lamb, by Ray Boltz

Lyrics to song:
Walking on the road to Jerusalem
The time had come to sacrifice again
My two small sons, they walk beside me on the road
The reason that they came was to watch the lamb
And they said, "Daddy, Daddy, what will we see there?
There's so much that we don't understand"
And so I told them of Moses and father Abraham
Then I said, "Dear children, watch the lamb"
There will be so many in Jerusalem today
We must be sure the lamb doesn't run away
And I told them of Moses and father Abraham
Then I said, "Dear children, watch the lamb"
When we reached the city, I knew something must be wrong
There were no joyful worshipers there, no joyful worship songs
And I stood there with my children in the midst of angry men
Then I heard the crowd cry out, let's crucify Him
We tried to leave the city but we could not get away
Forced to play in this drama, a part I did not wish to play
Why upon this day were men condemned to die?
Why were we standing here where soon they would pass by?
I looked and said, even now they come
The first one cried for mercy, the people gave him none
The second one was violent and he was arrogant and loud
I still here his angry voice screaming at the crowd
Then someone said, "There's Jesus", I scarce believed my eyes
A man so badly beaten, He barely looked alive
Blood poured from His body, from the thorns upon His brow
Running down the Cross, falling to the ground
I watched as He struggled, I watched Him when He fell
The cross came down upon His back, the crowd began to yell
In that moment I felt such agony, in that moment I felt such loss
Till a Roman soldier grabbed my arm and screamed
"You, carry His cross"
At first I tried to resist him, then his hand reached for his sword
So I knelt and took the Cross from the Lord
I put it on my shoulder and we started down the street
The blood that he'd been shedding was running down my cheek
They led us to Golgotha, they drove nails deep in His feet and hands
Yet upon the Cross I heard Him pray, "Father, forgive them"
Never have I seen such love in any other eyes
"Into Thy hands I commit my spirit", He prayed and then He died
I stood for what seemed like years, I'd lost all sense of time
Until I felt two little hands holding tight to mine
The children stood there weeping, I heard the oldest say
"Father please forgive us, the lamb ran away"
"Daddy, daddy, what have we seen here?
There's so much that we don't understand?"
So I took them in my arms and we turned and faced the Cross
Then I said, "Dear children watch the lamb"

 Arise My Love by Newsong
Whoo hoo! I love, a love, a love this song played with The Passion movie. The Passion is my most favorite movie of all. So many people came to Christ when they saw that movie at the theaters. Reports of even grown men coming out of the movie crying. I'm here to tell you, when the Holy Spirit gets a hold of you---He gets A HOLD of you! Praise Jesus for all the sufferings he went through for me off and on that cross. You were the ultimate Lamb that was sacrificed for our sins. When you come again. you are coming as a Lion! King of kings and Lord of lords! You will put to death all sin once and for all! Your saints will be behind you and your enemies will be beneath you.  You will not be mocked anymore!

Lyrics to song:

Not a word was heard
at the tomb that day.
Just shuffling of soldiers feet
as they guarded the grave.
One day, two days,
three days had past.
Could it be that Jesus
breathed His last?
Could it be that His Father
had forsaken him?
Turned his back on his son
despising our sin.
All hell seemed to whisper
"Just forget Him, He's dead."
Then the Father looked down
to his son and he said..
Arise, My love
Arise, My love
The grave no longer
has a hold on you
No more death's sting
No more suffering
Arise...Arise...my love.
The Earth trembled
and the tomb began to shake
and like lightening from Heaven,
the stone was rolled away.
And as dead men,
the guards they all stood there in fright
As the power of love
displayed its might
Then suddenly
A melody filled the air
Riding wings of wind,
it was everywhere
The words all creation
had been longing to hear
The sweet sound of victory,
so loud and clear.
Arise, my love
Arise, my love
The grave no longer has a hold on you.
No more death's sting
no more suffering
Arise...arise....
Sin, where are your shackles?
Death, where is your sting?
Hell; has been defeated.
The grave could not hold the king.
Arise, My love
Arise, My love
The grave no longer
has a hold on you
No more death's sting
No more suffering
Arise....Arise....Arise

In conclusion of today's tribute to Christ here is a beloved song that is sung in my church and that I also know how to sign in ASL. I thank God for Jesus dying on the cross for me. His love never fails me even when I fail Him. I don't claim to be a saint, better than others, elevated in status or anything else. I am nothing more than a saved sinner saved by not my works---but by grace alone. I am thankful that He saved someone like me. I can hardly wait to be in his presence and in a new, glorified body that won't ever, ever sin against Him again! I love Jesus with all that I am,. but when I sin against Him I am so ashamed, yet I realize there is no condemnation in those that love Christ. Romans 8:1  Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. On the other hand when I am basking in the Lord's love for me I am so exhilarated in my whole being. There is nothing on this earth that even compares to truly being in love with Christ Jesus. I admit I have been on a marijuana high before and I also know the power and beautiful feeling of being in love with another human being---but nothing compares to the supernatural agape love for Jesus! I wish for all my family and friends to know Him that way--- even those who I don't know. God knows who you are. he loves you even if you don't love Him.Come to Him today---because tomorrow may be too late.

Worthy is the Lamb by Hillsong

Lyrics to song:

Thank you for the cross Lord
Thank you for the price You paid
Bearing all my sin and shame
In love You came and gave amazing grace
Thank you for this love Lord
Thank you for the nail pierced hands
Washed me in Your cleansing flow
Now all I know Your forgiveness and embrace
Worthy is the Lamb
Seated on the throne
Crown You now with many crowns
You reign victorious
High and lifted up
Jesus, Son of God
The Darling of Heaven crucified
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Thank you for the cross Lord
Thank you for the price You paid
Bearing all my sin and shame
In love You came and gave amazing grace
Thank you for this love Lord
Thank you for the nail pierced hands
Washed me in Your cleansing flow
Now all I know Your forgiveness and embrace
Worthy is the Lamb
Seated on the throne
Crown You now with many crowns
You reign victorious
High and lifted up
Jesus, Son of God
The Darling of Heaven crucified
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Seated on the throne
Crown You now with many crown

The Darling of Heaven crucified
Worthy is the Lamb

Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
